张朝阳：国内视频分享网站就是盗版基地

2009年1月4日，搜狐CEO张朝阳在接受多家媒体专访时，批评国内视频网站盗版严重，并直言，“国内视频分享网站就是盗版基地”。他表示，随着打击盗版的声浪越来越高，搜狐会逐步发展视频新闻业务。

　　张朝阳在采访中表示，由于视频分享模式在国内外都没有被证明是成功的商业模式，因此很多视频分享网站开始回归1.0的媒体模式。

“此前，国内视频网站靠盗版聚集了人气，由于搜狐是大公司，盗版会惹来很多问题，所以我们没法和视频分享网站竞争。不过随着打击盗版的声浪越来越高，也给了搜狐巨大的发展空间。当初我们花4000万人民币买下奥运视频的版权，就是因为当时央视承诺将严厉打击盗版。”

他表示，之前搜狐积累了P2P技术，并且首先开始原创娱乐内容，奥运时还签约了百家电视台的资源，“只要视频网站不再做盗版，搜狐视频新闻还是很有竞争力的。”
