雅虎视频猛增56%，跃居美国在线视频第二名

视讯网 11月1日消息一份来自Nielsen未公布的九月份美国在线视频市场研究报告显示，Yahoo!Video市场份额较八月份猛增56%，超过福克斯互动(包括：MySpaceTV, Photobucket, Fox Television Studios, FOX Broadcasting, IGN Entertainment Gaming Network, and Rotten Tomatoes)，名列第二。

数据显示，Yahoo!视频访问量从八月份的1.69亿突然戏剧性地跃为2.65亿，增幅高达56%！YouTube的成绩依然占有绝对市场份额，访问量相对上个月增加了12%，高达53亿！！

在前两天Beet.TV组织的网络视频行业峰会上，Yahoo视频体育和娱乐频道负责人Jimmy Pitaro说，Yahoo正在将专业视频和用户创造视频的界线模糊化，比如：一直占据Yahoo播放量第一位的视频，是Shakira的“Hip Don't Like”。

提及雅虎视频流量猛增的原因时，Yahoo的一位发言人称，取得这样的成绩有两方面原因：一方面是九月份的二个标志性事件：金融危机和2008大选。可以参看Yahoo九月份的金融频道和新闻频道的统计数据；另一方面就是雅虎视频的关联性，这些频道的上下文提示为雅虎视频带来了很高的流量。

“此外，Yahoo策划的‘Primetime In No Time’也为雅虎视频带来了1亿的访问量。”Jimmy Pitaro说道。

其实，抛开流量问题不谈，Yahoo视频相对于YouTube视频转化为收入的能力却是非常满意的。据《华尔街日报》报道，Yahoo的大部分视频都可以增加广告收入，而YouTube却只有可怜的4%可以转化为收入。
